Flow meter commissioning service

Thanks to their advanced design, the installation of the ultrasonic sensors and commissioning of our flow
meters is usually straightforward. Constraints on
time and resources, however, may mean that you
would prefer us to do the job for you.

Your situation

Once you have purchased one or several of our fixed-installation clamp-on flow meters, you might also want us to commission the equipment for you.

Our service

Our trained engineers will visit your site in order to assist you with the flow meter setup and mounting of the ultrasonic sensors. In case of heat quantity measurement applications, we also install
the PT100 temperature sensors supplied with the flow meter.

We have service engineers on hand who are fully trained in the use of our flow meters, carry up-to-date safety passports and who are certified for offshore work.

If there are site acceptance tests required, personnel can be made available in order to supervise the test procedure.

The commissioning service typically includes:

• Setup of the flow meter
• Advising on best transmitter and sensor location
• Pipe preparation
• Installation of the clamp-on sensors
• Configuration and test of the process outputs
• Participation in site acceptance tests
